
Helping to protect the Integrity of Sport

Paul has extensive experience investigating corruption in Sport. Until recently he was the Director of Integrity Services at the British Horseracing Authority; a position he held for nine years. During that time he established an integrity unit that is now seen as the global blueprint for investigating corruption in sport. He has worked with a number of other sports including Tennis, Football and Rugby.

He is a member of the Sports Betting Group which was formed following the UK Government backed Rick Parry Review into the integrity of sport. ​Paul has spoken extensively worldwide on the subject of betting-related corruption in sport.

He has also made two appearances at the European Parliament and two appearances before a Parliamentary Select Committee – the most recent of which was in January 2013. Paul has an MA in Criminology and is a former senior detective with 27 years experience of dealing with serious and organised crime.
